Pricing & Payment terms

  For jobs lasting more then 1 hour and when possible we like to come and look at the job in advance and give you a free written estimate,  However there may be times when you need something done quick and would rater we just came and took care of it on the spot. For this reason we do have an hourly rate for service calls and that rate is $89 for the 1st hour and $75 each additional hour. This does not include any material we may need to supply. We feel that this rate is fair and competitive with what other licensed competitors are charging to cover the cost of a trip, Use of our trucks/ tools and insurance coverage we are required to carry. These rates are for during normal business hours. 



PAYMENT TERMS:

We seldom take deposits or down payments on small jobs, Service calls or jobs that do not require an electrical inspection and jobs that can be completed in 1 day or less, We usually collect 100% payment at the end of the day when we finish the work and only after the job is complete and you are happy with the work. We reserve the right to require a down payment with a signed contract if we feel it may be necessary.

EXCEPTIONS: Home stand by generators,  RG&E disconnects of any kind and contract work.

 1.) Generators are special order and are not stocked locally and if a job were to get canceled we would inquire a restocking fee and also have additional freight shipping fees associated. There are also permits that will need to be pulled and for this reason we ask for 50% deposit on any generator job and a signed contract before we get started.

 2.) Electric service upgrades or repairs where power has been terminated by RG&E- If for any reason we come to a property where there is no electricity as a result of RG&E terminating power for whatever reason or if there is evidence of tampering with equipment or of an illegal hook up then we require 100% payment up front- NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY! 

3.) 2 or 3 part jobs that can not be completed in 1 day or less that require a service as well as rough wiring and Final inspection will require a down payment and a signed contract BEFORE any permits can be pulled or any work can begin.
